Who we are

TipsCoach is a tool for tipped workers to log shifts and understand their own earnings. The app is operated by Xstream Networks, LLC.

What stays on your phone

By default, everything. Shifts, tips, hours, sales, workplaces, tip-out rules, goals, tags and notes are stored locally on your device. The app is fully functional with no account at all.

What happens if you turn on backup

Backup is optional and off until you enter your email. When you turn it on:

• We store your email address so we can send you a sign-in code. There is no password.
• Your shifts and profile settings are copied to our database (hosted on Supabase, in the United States) so they survive a lost phone and appear on your other devices.
• Rows are scoped to your account. Other users cannot read your data.
• You can sign out at any time; your data stays on your phone.

What we do not collect

This release does not send us or an analytics provider any of the following:

• Usage analytics or event tracking of any kind.
• Advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no ad networks.
• Your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
• Any third-party trackers or cross-app tracking.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it for advertising. Our only processor is our database and authentication provider (Supabase), which stores the data described above on our behalf.

Your rights

You can exercise all of these inside the app:

• CSV export (Pro): Settings, Export all shifts, creates a readable copy of your saved shifts. All records on your phone remain readable and editable on Free.
• Delete: Settings, Erase all data, wipes the app's data from your device.
• Delete your account: Settings, Backup, Delete account. This permanently removes your account and every row we hold for it. You choose separately whether the shifts on your phone are erased too, because your own records are yours to keep.
• You can also email privacy@xstreamnetworks.com to request a copy or deletion of the data we hold for you. These privacy requests do not require Pro.
• Earnings records: export your self-reported earnings for review with your accountant or employer. These are not official tax forms.

Retention

On-device data stays until you delete it or remove the app. If backup is on, your rows stay in our database until you delete your account, which removes them immediately and for good. Deleted shifts are kept briefly as empty tombstones so the deletion can reach your other devices, then purged.

Children

TipsCoach is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will remove it.

California residents

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out, exercisable through the in-app tools above or by contacting us.

Changes

If we change how data is handled, we will update this policy and the date at the top. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
